Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

simple, goes well with pasta

Place a heaped teaspoon of grated cheese (to taste; I prefer Sbrinz) on each ham slice and roll up the ham. Add a little oil to a large saucepan and heat over high heat. Then add 4 heaped tablespoons of tomato puree, sauté gently, stirring constantly, and deglaze with a liter of boiling water. Simmer the tomato sauce for 4 minutes and season with pepper. Place the filled ham rolls in the sauce and place the pan in the oven at 200°C (fan oven) for about 30 minutes. This dish goes very well with pasta.
