Hawaii Surprise Jam
The perfect hawaii surprise jam recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 300 g Pineapple
- 100 g Sugar
- 70 ml Pineapple juice
- 1 half a tsp Citric acid
- 80 ml Blue Curacao
- 70 ml Prosecco dry
- 30 g Sugar
- 12 g Gelfix 3: 1
- Cut the pineapple (great if you have fresh ones, otherwise just from the can) into small pieces and cook them soft together with the pineapple juice, the citric acid and 100 grams of sugar
- Meanwhile mix 30 grams of sugar with 12 grams of gelfix 3: 1 – finely puree the mixture with the hand blender and then add the sugar / gelfix mixture – let it boil for about 3 minutes, stirring constantly – finally add the blue curacao and prosecco and bring everything to the boil again – immediately pour into clean glasses while still hot and close tightly

- I discovered this unusual crazy jam version at an advent market – and because it tasted convincingly good and is also an eye-catcher, of course it had to be “remodeled” immediately – and I think it is something special and super delicious …
