Banana Pops

Preparing these healthy banana ice cream sticks is super easy. All you need is a few halved bananas in the freezer, which you then dip into melted chocolate. My kids absolutely love these healthy chocolate banana ice cream bars and have a lot of fun decorating the halved bananas. Peel the bananas and trim off the ends. Halve the bananas crosswise and put them on wooden skewers. Freeze the banana pieces for at least 1-2 hours. Break the chocolate into pieces and melt them together with the coconut oil over a double boiler. Place sugar pearls, chopped nuts, etc. on plates for decoration. Dip the frozen banana pieces into the melted chocolate and sprinkle with sugar pearls, nuts, etc. The temperature difference causes the chocolate to set very quickly. Serve the banana ice cream bars immediately and enjoy, or store them back in the freezer.
