Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 g spelt, freshly ground
  • 150 g quinoa, freshly ground
  • 1 tsp iodized salt
  • 600 ml water
  • Oil for the waffle iron

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

without sugar, makes 4 servings

First, mix the flour with the water and salt until smooth. Cover the batter and let it rest in the refrigerator for about an hour. Next, heat up and grease the waffle iron. Gradually bake four to six thick, golden-yellow waffles from the batter. Let the waffles cool on a wire rack to prevent them from becoming soft. They are best served fresh. Serve with yogurt with cinnamon and vanilla or yogurt with spices and fresh herbs. Makes 4 servings. 240 kcal per serving.
