Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 250 g flour
- ½ tsp baking powder
- 175 g butter
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 egg(s)
- 200 g cheese (Gouda)
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tbsp water
- pepper
- Grease for the tray

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
makes about 60 pieces
Knead together flour, baking powder, butter in pieces, egg, salt, and a pinch of pepper until smooth. Finely grate the cheese, knead in 150g of it, and roll out the dough to about 0.5cm thick. Cut out any shapes you like from the dough and place them on a well-greased baking sheet. Whisk the egg yolk with 1 tablespoon of water, brush the biscuits with it, and sprinkle with the remaining cheese. Bake at 200°C for 12-15 minutes.
