Heavenly brownies

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 g butter, soft
  • 100 g sugar
  • 100 g brown sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 tsp crème fraîche
  • 5 tbsp cocoa
  • 240 g wheat flour
  • ¾ pack of baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 bar of dark chocolate (100 g)
  • 1 bar of white chocolate (100 g)
  • 4 tbsp walnuts
  • possibly grease for the mold
  • possibly flour for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

very uncomplicated

Beat the butter, both sugars, eggs, and crème fraîche with a hand mixer until smooth, then add the cocoa powder and mix in. Chop the dark chocolate moderately finely, then roughly chop the walnuts and white chocolate; set everything aside. Mix the flour with the baking powder and a pinch of salt, then add to the butter mixture and briefly mix with a hand mixer. Finally, fold the chopped ingredients evenly into the batter with a wooden spoon. Line a baking dish (mine measures 33 x 23 cm) with baking paper (or grease and flour it if you prefer), pour in the batter, and smooth it out. Bake in a preheated oven at approx. 170°C (top/bottom heat) on the middle rack for about 35 minutes. Adjust the baking time according to the temperature of your oven. The brownies should still be moist in the center, but no longer raw. The best way to test this is to carefully pierce the center with a skewer toward the end of the baking time. There should be no sticky bits of batter left. Let them cool in the baking dish on a wire rack. Finally, cut into small squares with a kitchen knife, lift them out of the dish, and arrange them on a platter. Serve warm or cold, with vanilla sauce or ice cream, if desired.
