Ingredients

  • Fondant / mass
  • Ingredients for the fondant
  • Food coloring red
  • Sugar writing yellow and brown
  • Ingredients for the cream
  • -
  • Cake batter
  • 1 packet Oreo biscuits
  • 360 g Flour
  • 1 packet Baking powder
  • 0,5 tsp Salt
  • 110 g Butter
  • 400 g Sugar
  • 4 Egg Whites
  • 240 ml Milk
  • 0,5 packet Butter vanilla baking flavor

Instructions

  • Buy the fondant or prepare and color it days in advance. fondant
  • Line the springform tin with baking paper and grease the edges. Make the dough: mix the flour, baking powder and salt and set aside. Mix the butter and sugar in another bowl until creamy. Gradually add the egg whites and the vanilla flavor. Then add half of the flour mixture, then the milk. Finally the second half of the flour. Carefully fold in the oreos or chopped oreos with a wooden spoon and put half of them into the spingfrom. Bake for 30 minutes at 180 °. Let the cake rest briefly, then turn it out onto a rack and let it cool down. Bake the rest of the dough in exactly the same way and let it cool ... TIP: I used crumbled Oreos in one base and whole Oreo biscuits in the other, so the cake looked nicer when cut.
  • Prepare the cream that you need for the filling and to spread the cake all around. I took this recipe: Vanilla Buttercream (Pie Filling)
  • Now brush a cake base with a little puding cream and place the second on top. Spread the entire cake with the cream and smooth out any unevenness.
  • Roll out the fondant thinly and put it over the cake. Carefully press the edges against the cake and cut the ends off with a sharp knife.
  • Model a kitty out of white fondant. I traced the face through baking paper and was then able to transfer it to the fondant by gently tracing it (with a knife). Make the bow in the same way. Place everything on top of the cake.
  • Do not put the cake in the refrigerator. Ideally into the cool stairwell or the basement.
