Herbal Bread

  • 600 g Flour
  • 300 g Water
  • 42 g Yeast
  • 0,5 teaspoon Sugar
  • 2 Teaspoon (level) Salt
  • 1 medium-sized Fresh onion
  • 2 Toes Fresh garlic
  • 120 g Butter, soft
  1. Let the yeast swell in a little warm water and add a little sugar. Add to the remaining ingredients and stir the dough until smooth.
  2. Press the garlic, finely dice the onion, finely chop the parsley and mix all the ingredients for the topping.
  3. Roll out the dough into a rectangle. Put the topping on it and distribute it evenly.
  4. Cut the dough into strips approx. 5 x 10 cm wide. If you have a smaller strip, roll it into a cone and place it in the middle of a greased springform pan. One strip after the other is placed on this dough cone. You always overlap the strips a little until the last one is processed.
  5. Once everything is lined up or layered, put the springform pan in a warm place, lightly dust the whole thing with flour and let the dough rise for another half hour.
  6. Bake the bread in the preheated oven on the middle rack at 200 ° C for about 25 – 30 minutes.
