Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 6 oranges
- 500 g mascarpone
- 40 g powdered sugar
- 6 packs of vanilla sugar
- ¼ liter whipped cream
- 250 g vanilla croissants
- 2 tbsp Amaretto
- 150 g jam (orange jam)
- 2 tbsp Amaretto
Instructions
Working time approx. 45 minutes; Rest time approx. 8 hours; Total time approx. 8 hours 45 minutes
Peel and segment the oranges. Cream the mascarpone with the icing sugar and vanilla sugar until creamy. Whip the cream until stiff and fold in. Drizzle the vanilla crescents with Amaretto. Line the bottom of a bowl (approx. 2 liters) with half the amount of vanilla crescents. Cover this layer with half the amount of orange segments. Mix the orange marmalade with the Amaretto and spread half the amount over the fillets. Spread half the amount of the mascarpone cream on top and smooth it down. Repeat the process with the remaining ingredients and refrigerate overnight. They taste best when left to soak for 2 days. Briefly immerse the bowl in hot water and then turn it out onto a plate.
