Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 400 ml natural yogurt
  • 400 ml crème fraîche
  • 4 tbsp lime juice or lemon juice
  • 1 package of garden herbs of your choice, frozen
  • 3 cloves garlic, fresh
  • 5 slice(s) Jalapeño(s) , pickled
  • 1 tbsp liquid (jalapeño broth)
  • 1 pinch of salt

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Combine natural yogurt, crème fraîche, lime juice, jalapeno stock, and garden herbs in a large mixing bowl. Peel and press the garlic, then add it along with the jalapeno slices. Mix everything well with a whisk. Season to taste with salt and a little more lime juice (for acidity) or jalapeno stock (for spiciness). Let it sit in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes. It’s perfect with baked potatoes, chips, or simply as a spread on baguette.
