Homemade Garlic Herb Butter

The perfect homemade garlic herb butter recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 3 cups Cream
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp Lemon zest
  • Sea-Salt
  • Pepper from the grinder
  • Basil
  • Garlic green
  1. Put the cream in a measuring beaker and whip until stiff with a hand mixer – then turn the mixing level up a little and keep whipping until the whey settles.
  1. Put the butter in a sieve and press firmly to remove the excess whey. Peel the garlic and pound it in a mortar with a little sea salt.
  1. Finely chop the herbs and grate the lemon peel. Mix everything with the butter with a fork and season with pepper. Bottling and chilling.
  1. I had freshly baked bread with it.
