Homemade lemon iced tea

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 liter of water
  • 3 tea bags, black
  • 1 stalk of lemon balm
  • 1 mint sprig(s)
  • 1 lemon(s), juice
  • 4 tbsp sugar, approx. 60 g

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Bring the water to a boil and pour into a pitcher. Add the tea bags to the water and let the tea steep for 3-5 minutes. (See package). Meanwhile, wash the lemon balm and mint leaves and add them as well. Squeeze the lemon and add the juice. Finally, add the sugar. Let the tea steep for about 30 minutes and then let it cool to achieve the perfect flavor. Serve the iced tea chilled.
