Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 vanilla pod(s), scraped out seeds
  • 200 g water
  • 50 g sugar
  • e.g. lemon juice

Bring water, sugar, vanilla pod, vanilla seeds, and lemon juice to a boil. Simmer over medium heat for approximately 15-20 minutes or longer until reduced to the desired consistency. Remove the vanilla pod. Pour the syrup into a bottle or screw-top jar while still hot and seal.
