Ingredients for 12 servings:

  • 75 g butter
  • 50 g sugar
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 200 g flour
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 75 g butter
  • 75 g honey
  • 75 g sugar
  • 250 g nuts or almonds, chopped, flakes or sticks
  • 2 tbsp milk

For the dough, beat the butter and sugar until fluffy, stir in the egg, and then combine with the flour and water to form a firm dough. Roll out the dough and place it in a greased 24cm springform pan. For the topping, melt the butter, add the honey and sugar, and let it foam until the sugar dissolves. Add the nuts or almonds and deglaze with the milk. Spread it over the dough and bake at 180°C for about 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
