Honey Nut Cookies

The perfect honey nut cookies recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 240 g Butter
  • 120 g Honey
  • 180 g Sugar
  • 75 g Chopped hazelnuts
  • 75 g Mixed candied fruits
  • 2 tsp Cinammon
  • 1 pinch Clove powder
  • 0,5 tsp Potash
  • 480 g Flour
  1. Bring the butter, honey and sugar to the boil in a saucepan while stirring. Mix in the hazelnuts, candied fruits and spices. Mix the potash in a little lukewarm water and stir in as well. Sift the flour into a bowl and pour in the butter and honey mixture, which is still warm. Knead until the flour is incorporated. Set aside and let cool.
  1. 2 Form rolls (4-5 cm in diameter) wrapped in cling film and leave to rest in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
