Ingredients
- 240 g Butter
- 120 g Honey
- 180 g Sugar
- 75 g Chopped hazelnuts
- 75 g Mixed candied fruits
- 2 tsp Cinammon
- 1 pinch Clove powder
- 0,5 tsp Potash
- 480 g Flour
Instructions
- Bring the butter, honey and sugar to the boil in a saucepan while stirring. Mix in the hazelnuts, candied fruits and spices. Mix the potash in a little lukewarm water and stir in as well. Sift the flour into a bowl and pour in the butter and honey mixture, which is still warm. Knead until the flour is incorporated. Set aside and let cool.
- 2 Form rolls (4-5 cm in diameter) wrapped in cling film and leave to rest in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
- Then cut into 5 mm thick slices with a knife. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper and cover with the dough slices, leaving a gap of 5 cm between each one, as the cookies will spread out a little while baking. Bake for 10 minutes.
