Hot chocolate with orange liqueur

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 480 ml milk (whole milk)
  • 180 ml cream
  • 50 g sugar
  • 25 g cocoa powder, unsweetened
  • 60 ml Grand Marnier
  • 2 drops flavoring (orange oil)
  • whipped cream
  • Orange peel, grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Heat the milk and cream in a saucepan, but do not let it boil. Whisk in the sugar until dissolved. Then stir in the cocoa powder, orange liqueur, and orange oil (the latter can be omitted). Pour into glasses and garnish with whipped cream and orange zest. This mixture makes two large glasses.
