Hot cloudy apple juice with ginger

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 cup cloudy apple juice
  • 1 cm ginger, fresh

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Heat the apple juice in a saucepan or microwave, but do not let it boil. Finely grate the ginger. This yields about 1 teaspoon. Add the ginger to the hot juice and stir. Stir occasionally, as the grated ginger will always float to the top. You can also press the ginger in a vegetable juicer; this way, it’s easier to squeeze more ginger at once and pour the remaining juice into a jar with a screw-top lid. Add 1-2 teaspoons of ginger juice to the hot apple juice. Use up the remaining ginger juice as soon as possible. Healthy, simple, and delicious; kids will love it too.
