Hot milk with honey and cinnamon

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 6 tbsp honey
  • 1 liter milk, whole milk
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 3 cloves, whole

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Add 1 tbsp of honey to each of 6 glasses and set aside. Bring the milk to a boil in a larger saucepan and remove from the heat. Add the cinnamon and cloves and stir. Cover and set aside for 20 minutes. Then return to the heat and bring back to a boil while stirring. Remove from the heat, remove the cloves, and briefly froth with a hand blender. Pour into the glasses and spoon some of the froth onto each glass. Stir the honey into the milk with a spoon and serve. Depending on the size of the glasses, this will make 4-6.
