Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • ½ slice(s) orange(s)
  • 7 carnations
  • 4 cl Irish whiskey (Old Paddy)
  • 5 tsp brown sugar
  • e.g. water, hot

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

instead of grog and mulled wine

Stud the half orange slice with the seven cloves. Place the sugar in a mug or grog glass, pour the Old Paddy over it, add the studded orange slice, and fill with hot water. Stir gently until the sugar dissolves. The Hot Paddy should be consumed before it cools. If consuming multiple Hot Paddys, the studded orange slice can remain in the glass and be topped up with additional studded slices.
