New Year’s Eve pastries

Dissolve the yeast in a little lukewarm water with a pinch of sugar and let it rise slightly. Knead the flour and softened margarine. Mix the sour cream with the salt. Add 1 egg, the yeast mixture, and 100g of cheese. Knead everything into a dough, cover, and let it rise in a warm place. Then roll out the dough in portions, whisk the second egg in a cup. Brush the rolled out dough thinly with the egg and sprinkle with the remaining cheese. Cut out small diamonds or sticks and place them on a baking sheet. Bake at 180°C fan oven until golden brown. This takes about 10 minutes. These sticks are traditionally eaten on New Year’s Eve.
