Ingredients
- 500 ml East Frisian tea, cold from yesterday
- 250 ml Apple juice
- 250 ml White wine
- 400 g Ice cubes
- 1 piece Orange, pieces
- 1 piece Kiwi, pieces
- 2 tbsp Currant jam
- 5 piece Anise spice stars
- 1 piece Cinnamon stick
- 2 tbsp Sugar or sugar substitute accordingly
Instructions
Preparation:
- The day before, brew the East Frisian mixture with the aniseed stars and the cinnamon bark for 3 minutes, remove the tea bag (otherwise it will be very bitter) and let it cool overnight.
Icetea:
- The next day, mix the cold tea with the apple juice, white wine, orange pieces, kiwi pieces and jam and stir a few times. A glass carafe with a long plastic spoon that cannot oxidize is best. Don't forget the ice cubes to cool down.
Match with:
- The iced tea is very useful as a soft drink and as a cool down on hot summer days.
