Ingredients

  • 500 ml East Frisian tea, cold from yesterday
  • 250 ml Apple juice
  • 250 ml White wine
  • 400 g Ice cubes
  • 1 piece Orange, pieces
  • 1 piece Kiwi, pieces
  • 2 tbsp Currant jam
  • 5 piece Anise spice stars
  • 1 piece Cinnamon stick
  • 2 tbsp Sugar or sugar substitute accordingly

Instructions

Preparation:

  • The day before, brew the East Frisian mixture with the aniseed stars and the cinnamon bark for 3 minutes, remove the tea bag (otherwise it will be very bitter) and let it cool overnight.

Icetea:

  • The next day, mix the cold tea with the apple juice, white wine, orange pieces, kiwi pieces and jam and stir a few times. A glass carafe with a long plastic spoon that cannot oxidize is best. Don't forget the ice cubes to cool down.

Match with:

  • The iced tea is very useful as a soft drink and as a cool down on hot summer days.
