Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

savory snack for cocktail evenings, as an aperitif or as a snack

In a bowl, mix the nuts with the crushed chili pepper, honey, oil, garam masala, and paprika. Spread them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and roast in a preheated oven at 190 degrees Celsius (375 degrees Fahrenheit), turning frequently, for 8-10 minutes. Remove the nuts and, while still hot, sprinkle with salt and a little sugar (I used cinnamon sugar) to taste. Mix briefly and serve once cooled. The nuts will keep fresh for several days if stored in an airtight container.
