Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g pork, diced for goulash
  • 2 tbsp margarine
  • salt and pepper
  • ¼ liter vegetable broth
  • 1 stalk(s) leek
  • 1 red bell pepper(s)
  • 2 apples
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp vinegar (fruit vinegar)
  • curry
  • 1 banana(s)
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • garlic powder
  • Ginger powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Heat 1 tablespoon of margarine and brown the meat. Season with salt and pepper, pour in the broth, and braise the meat for about 30 minutes. Peel and dice the apples, slice the leek into rings, and dice the bell pepper. Heat the remaining fat, fry everything briefly, and then add to the meat. Add soy sauce, tomato paste, and vinegar. Season with salt, pepper, curry, garlic, and ginger, and braise for another 20 minutes. Slice the banana, fry briefly in the butter, season lightly with salt, and add to the meat before serving. Serve with rice.
