Inge's rice and quark casserole

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 125 g butter
  • 125 g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 500 g quark
  • 150 g rice
  • 1 lemon(s), peel and juice
  • 400 g apples

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cook the rice. Beat the butter, sugar, and eggs until fluffy. Add the quark, rice, and grated lemon zest. Peel and dice the apples, and drizzle with lemon juice. Fold everything into a greased casserole dish. Bake at 160°C (preheated) for about 1.5 hours.
