Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 225 g floury potatoes, peeled, cooked and mashed
- 225 g floury potatoes, peeled and grated
- 350 ml milk or buttermilk
- 200 g flour
- 1 m.-sized egg(s), very fresh and at room temperature
- 1 tsp baking powder
- some black pepper, ground
- some salt
- some butter for frying
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Boxy griddle pancakes
Mix all ingredients thoroughly. Heat a little butter in a pan. Drop tablespoon-sized portions into the pan and cook over medium heat for about 3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Serve hot with apple sauce or with black pudding and bacon.
