It Does Not Cure, But Cripples: How to Drink Tea with Honey Correctly

Bee honey is one of the oldest and healthiest foods. The medicinal and nutritional properties of honey are well-known and undeniable, but when paired with tea, it can be harmful.

How to drink tea with natural honey

Tea is usually drunk hot, and heating above 40 degrees is contraindicated for honey. It is this little-known point that causes difficulties in drinking tea and honey.

Nutritionists recommend: do not add honey to a hot drink but consume it in small portions with a bite. It is very useful to add it to chilled freshly brewed tea and combine it with different varieties.

Honey can be harmful even without tea

Don’t forget about the daily intake of honey. You should not abuse the amount you add to your tea. You need to remember that honey is high in calories, and in large portions, it can cause an allergic reaction in the body.

Tea with bee nectar, like any sweet product, according to dentists, contributes to the development of caries. Therefore, if possible, always brush your teeth or rinse your mouth with clean water, which will significantly reduce the amount of sugar.
