Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 300 g spaetzle
- 150 g cheese (Gouda), in one piece
- 150 ml milk
- 100 ml cream
- 4 eggs
- 400 g cocktail tomatoes, washed and halved
- salt and pepper
- nutmeg
- Fat, for the shape
Instructions

also suitable for using up leftover spaetzle
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Cook the spaetzle for 10-12 minutes until al dente, then drain well. Coarsely grate the cheese. Whisk the cream with the milk, eggs, and 2/3 of the cheese. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Grease a 28 cm quiche dish well and arrange the spaetzle in it. Pour the cheese and egg mixture over the spaetzle and scatter the cherry tomatoes on top. Bake for about 25 minutes. I serve it with a green salad.
