Italian chicken burger

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 600 g minced turkey, chilled
  • 1 pack of “Spicy Italian Herbs” spread (125 g)
  • 4 leaves of radicchio
  • ½ cucumber(s)
  • 1 tomato(s)
  • 4 burger buns
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 8 slices of breakfast bacon
  • 40 g Parmesan, shaved
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Knead the chilled ground beef and 2 tablespoons of the soft spread. Season with salt and pepper. Roll the ground beef into equal-sized balls (4 portions = 4 balls, 6 portions = 6 balls, etc.) and form into flat hamburger patties. Chill. Trim, wash, and drain the radicchio. Wash, trim, and slice the cucumber and tomato. Heat a grill pan. Halve the buns horizontally and toast the cut sides until golden brown, pressing lightly into the pan. Brush the cut sides with more spread. Brush both sides of the hamburgers with oil. Fry in the grill pan for about 10 minutes on each side. Meanwhile, fry the bacon in a hot pan without fat until crispy. Remove from the pan and drain on kitchen paper. Top the bottom buns with radicchio, cucumber, and tomato slices. Place the chicken hamburger on top and spread with a little of the spread. Finally, scatter the cooked bacon slices and Parmesan cheese over the top. Place the top buns on top. Toasted breadsticks go well with this.
