Italian spinach salad

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 200 g young leaf spinach
  • 125 g watercress
  • 125 g mozzarella (buffalo mozzarella)
  • 250 g cocktail tomatoes
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • some salt and pepper
  • possibly basil, for garnishing

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

with tomatoes and mozzarella

Wash and trim the spinach and watercress, tear them into bite-sized pieces, and place them in a bowl or divide them directly between several plates. Drain the mozzarella thoroughly and cut into small cubes. Wash the tomatoes and halve them or quarter larger pieces. Spread both over the salad. For the dressing, mix all ingredients well and drizzle over the salad. If you like, garnish with fresh basil leaves.
