Italian-style burgers at the OptiGrill

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 6 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 2 tsp pesto alla Genovese
  • 450 g minced beef
  • salt and pepper
  • 3 burger buns (brioche burger buns)
  • 1 pack of mozzarella, in brine, cut into 6 slices
  • 2 onions, red, cut into half rings
  • 2 vine tomatoes, sliced
  • 3 lettuce leaves

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

with pesto mayonnaise

Mix the mayonnaise with the pesto. Preheat the burger program on the Tefal OptiGrill. Season the ground beef with salt and pepper and form 150g of ground beef into burger patties. Grill the burger patties in the OptiGrill until golden brown. Toast the inside of the burger buns in a toaster or pan. Top the burger buns with 1 tablespoon of pesto mayonnaise, 1 lettuce leaf, the burger patty, 2 slices of mozzarella, 1 tomato slice, onions, and another 1 tablespoon of pesto mayonnaise.
