Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g flour
  • 125 g butter, in pieces
  • 60 ml beer
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • some sugar, fine for garnishing

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Torcetti al Burro, makes about 25 pieces

Knead all ingredients into a smooth dough. Let the dough rest in the refrigerator for half an hour. Shape the dough into about 25 logs, roll them in granulated sugar, fold them into oval rings, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Spray with a little water and bake at 200°C for 15-20 minutes. Spray with water again and bake for another 4-5 minutes, until the rings are light brown.
