- 500 g potatoes
- 500 g onion(s)

Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
simple, tasty and inexpensive
First, boil the potatoes with their skins on in salted water in a covered pot for about 25 minutes (time depends on the thickness of the potatoes). In the meantime, peel the onions and slice them, and then slice the sausages. Heat the oil in a pan, then add the onions and sausages. Sauté both over medium heat for about 15 minutes. Season with salt to taste (careful—the sausages release a lot of salt). Once cooked, peel the potatoes and slice them. Alternate layers of the potatoes and the onion and sausage mixture in a baking dish, making sure the onion mixture is always on top. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 10 minutes. Then mix the cream with the egg and nutmeg. Pour over the casserole and then sprinkle with the breadcrumbs. Bake for another 30 minutes. Serve hot.
