Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g strawberries, cleaned, mashed with a fork
  • 250 g raspberries, sorted
  • 125 g currants, red, without stems
  • 1 vanilla pod(s), cut lengthwise
  • 125 ml blackcurrant
  • 800 g gelling sugar, 2:1

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Place the berries, vanilla pod, and 500g of the sugar in a large saucepan and bring to a boil. Boil gently for 1 minute. Add the remaining sugar, bring back to a boil, and boil gently for about 3 minutes. Test for setting. Pour the jam while still boiling hot into the prepared jars and turn them upside down for 5 minutes. Makes approximately 7 jars of 250ml each. Shelf life: approximately 1 year.
