Juicy Apple Pie with Tiger Nuts

The perfect juicy apple pie with tiger nuts recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 2 Pc. Big apples
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 120 g Spelled flour type 630
  • 80 g Ground Tigernuts
  • 3 drops Bitter almond flavor
  • 80 g Raw cane sugar
  • 80 ml Melted coconut oil
  • 100 g Applesauce or quince sauce
  • 3 tsp Tartar baking powder
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 100 g Almond milk
  • 1 Msp Vanilla powder
  • 2 tbsp Raisins as desired
  1. Dice the apples, drizzle with lemon juice and set aside. For the dough, mix all the ingredients together to form a smooth mass. Fold in the apple cubes with the raisins. Pour the dough into a springform pan (approx. 22 – 24 cm in diameter) that has been greased and dusted with flour and bake in the preheated oven at 170 degrees top / bottom heat on the middle rack for about 45 – 50 minutes.
  2. The cake tastes delicious warm and cold. It goes well warm as a dessert with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
