  • 2 rolls, stale
  • Milk
  • 1 egg(s), beaten
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Water
  • Sugar
  • Cinnamon
  • Oil or butter for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Mannheimer Weck dumplings

Soak the stale rolls in milk diluted with water. Coat them in egg and breadcrumbs. Fry them well on all sides in a covered frying pan. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Serve with a Palatinate wine foam sauce or vanilla sauce.
