Stuffed dumplings with smoked pork

Simmer the meat in the broth with the onions, marrow bones, and bay leaves for about 2 hours. Then remove everything and let the meat cool. Half of the onions can be pressed into small pieces and returned to the broth. Season the broth with salt and pepper. Remove the meat from the bones and cut into small cubes. Mix the dumpling dough, form dumplings, and fill them with meat. Add the remaining meat to the broth and simmer for about 30 minutes, until the dumplings rise to the surface. If there isn’t enough broth for all the dumplings, cook the remaining dumplings in salted water. As soon as the first dumplings have been removed from the broth, top up with the others from the salted water. A very tasty recipe for colder days.
