Kasseler a la Lena

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 slice(s) Kasseler (neck), cooked
  • 4 slices of pineapple
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 4 slices of brown bread
  • butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Slice the onion into rings and sauté gently in a little butter. When the onion rings are yellow-brown, add the cup of sour cream. Slowly melt everything in the pan. Now add the smoked pork (it must be covered with the sour cream and onion). Simmer for 10 minutes. Add the pineapple to the pan, but only until it is warm. Place one slice of bread on each small plate. Place the smoked pork slice on top. Now add the pineapple and then pour over the sour cream and onion sauce. Tip: This recipe tastes great without the pineapple too.
