Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 3 slices of Leberkäse (large slices)
- 300 ml broth
- ½ cup sour cream
- 4 tsp mustard, sweet
- butter
- Salt
- pepper
- e.g. cornstarch or sauce thickener
- possibly Fondor
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
spicy, piquant and fast
Cut the Leberkäse into small pieces and fry them vigorously in a pan with a little melted butter. Combine the sour cream, broth, and mustard and add to the pan. Bring to a boil. Season with salt and pepper (or a little Fondor if desired) and thicken the sauce with cornstarch or a sauce thickener, if desired. Serve with dumplings or pasta, or with a salad.
