Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 700 g meat (kebab)
  • 2 cups of yogurt, Turkish or Greek
  • 1 can tomato(s) (Pizza tomatoes)
  • 1 package of butter
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 flatbreads
  • n. B. Oil for frying
  • Salt
  • Cayenne pepper
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Fry the kebab meat in a pan with a little oil and a chopped garlic clove. Then add the pizza tomatoes and season with paprika, cayenne pepper, and a pinch of salt. Mix the yogurt in a bowl until smooth, chop the remaining garlic cloves, and add them. Season with salt. Melt the butter in a suitable container. This works best in the microwave. Then tear the flatbread into small pieces and place on a plate. Mix 3 tablespoons of melted butter with 2 tablespoons of yogurt. It will curdle a little, but this is normal because the butter is warm. Then pour the butter-yogurt mixture over the flatbread and top with the desired amount of kebab. Serve immediately. Serve with rice, salad, or bulgur.
