Keksi's sweet tomato salad

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g tomatoes
  • 1 onion(s), red or white
  • 8 tsp sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • Vinegar
  • Water
  • pepper
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Wash, slice, and dice the tomatoes. Cut the onion into half-moons. For the dressing, prepare a 250 ml cup. Add the sugar and salt and top with vinegar until the sugar is well covered. Add the rest of the water and stir until dissolved. Pour over the tomatoes and season with pepper and oil. This sauce also goes well with cucumbers.
