Kettle Soljanka Ossi-Art
The perfect kettle soljanka ossi-art recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1,2 kg Kasslernacken
- 1,5 Rings Meat sausage
- 0,5 kg Salami
- 3 size Onions
- 1 kg Tomatoes; peeled and cored
- 4 size Peppers
- 1 glass Gherkins
- 1 glass Letscho- just do it yourself
- 1 Lemon
- 1 tube Tomato paste
- Chili peppers
- 2 tbsp Sambal Oelek
- 2 tsp Peppercorns
- Salt
- 7 tbsp Bay leaves
- Creme fraiche Cheese
- Lemon sliced
- Cut the pork loin into cubes, cut the meat sausage and salami into strips. Chop the onions into cubes. Light the wood for the boiler.
- Dice the tomatoes and cut the peppers into strips. Cut the pickles into thin slices and squeeze out the lemon. Sauté the kasslernacken, the meat sausage, the salami and the onion in the kettle.
- Add the tomatoes, peppers, pickles and letscho and let simmer. When it is cooked add the juice of the pickles, as well as the tomato paste and lemon juice.
- Then season with the salt and the sambal oelek. Add the bay leaves, the peppercorns and the chilli peppers (tip: I always put the spices in tea bags, as it is then easier to “fish out”!).
- Let it cook for half an hour (with the lid on) and stir regularly. Always put on fire.
- Serve the soup in deep plates and garnish with a slice of lemon and a teaspoon of creme fraiche. You can also cook this inside, but outside it is a thousand times better! 🙂
