Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 250 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- 4 eggs
- 125 ml milk
- 4 tbsp rum, or 1 small bottle of rum flavoring
- 350 g flour
- 150 g cornstarch
- 1 packet of baking powder
- 100 g candied lemon
- 100 g candied orange peel
- 150 g raisins
- Fat for the mold
- possibly powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 25 minutes
Combine all ingredients except the candied lemon peel, candied orange peel, and raisins in a mixing bowl and mix thoroughly. Then add the candied lemon peel, candied orange peel, and raisins and stir into the batter. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan (e.g., a Bundt pan). Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for approximately 65-75 minutes. Let the cake cool and then turn it out. If desired, dust it with powdered sugar.
