Knacker with onion and mustard sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 sausages (knackers)
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • some flour
  • 250 ml water
  • 2 tbsp mustard
  • some sour cream
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • some clarified butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Peel and quarter the sausages. Slice the onion into thin rings or strips. Then fry them in a little clarified butter. Dust with flour and sauté briefly, then pour in the water. Stir in the mustard and sour cream and season with salt and pepper. Add the quartered sausages. Once they’re warm, the dish is ready to serve, ideally with pasta.
