Kohlrabi and Carrot Ragout

Ingredients
 

  • 300 g Small poultry sausages
  • 300 g Oil
  • 500 g Kohlrabi fresh
  • 500 g Carrots
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 tablespoon Curry
  • 2 tablespoon Flour
  • 200 ml Vegetable broth
  • 200 ml Milk
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions
 

  • Cut the sausages in half lengthways, fry them in a pan with hot oil while turning, remove and keep warm.
  • Peel the carrots and kohlrabi. Cut the carrots into slices and the kohlrabi into sticks, peel the onion and cut into fine strips.
  • Put the kohlrabi, carrots and the onion in the pan with the sausage fat and sauté for about 5 minutes.
  • Now dust the curry powder and flour over them and sauté briefly.
  • Deglaze with the stock and milk, bring to the boil and simmer gently for about 10 minutes.
  • Season the ragout with salt and pepper and add the sausages again and let them warm up
  • Chop the kohlrabi green and add it to the ragout.
