kuechlis strawberry ice cream for the ice cream maker

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g yogurt (Greek cream yogurt) 10% fat
  • 300 ml sweet cream
  • 150 g powdered sugar
  • 400 g strawberries, peeled
  • ½ lemon(s), the juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

gluten-free

Puree the strawberries with a hand blender and the cream, add the yogurt and lemon juice, and sugar to taste. Please note that the liquid mixture will taste sweeter than the actual ice cream. The sugar content also depends on the sweetness of the fruit you are using. Pour the mixture into the ice cream maker. Notes: I always make my ice cream with my ice cream maker—it just turns out so much creamier. The recipe can probably be made without a machine, but you’ll need to make sure you go to the freezer as often as possible and stir the mixture thoroughly with a fork to ensure the ice crystals are as small as possible.
