Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 300g corned beef
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 400 g potatoes
  • 2 eggs
  • e.g. milk
  • some butter
  • Pickle(s)
  • Salt
  • n. B. beetroot
  • 2 rollmops (as needed)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

The original – without fish

Peel and finely dice the onion, and brown it in hot oil in a pan. Dice the corned beef and add it. Stir in the pan until softened. Mash the peeled potatoes, milk, butter, and salt and add it to the pan. Mix everything well and keep warm. Fry the eggs until fried, place them on top of the Labskaus, and serve. Serve with gherkins, rollmops, and beets.
