Latte Macchiato

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 400 ml milk
  • 100 ml espresso
  • Cocoa powder, for dusting

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Heat the milk in a saucepan and froth it with a milk frother. Ladle the milk into tall, preferably preheated, glasses with a capacity of approximately 300 ml. Slowly pour 1 cup of espresso into each glass through the milk foam. To achieve a clear separation between the milk and coffee, the coffee must be hotter than the milk. Dust with cocoa. Stencils are available for creating special patterns in the milk foam. Amaretti biscuits are delicious with these.
