Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1 stalk(s) leek
  • 1 small can/mandarin orange(s)
  • 1 jar celery, coarsely grated
  • 1 apple
  • 1 small can of corn
  • 4 eggs, hard boiled
  • 4 slice(s) ham, cooked
  • ½ jar cucumber(s) (pickled gherkins)
  • 250 g remoulade
  • 2 tbsp sour cream
  • 4 tbsp cream
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • salt and pepper
  • Sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

24-hour salad

Layer the ingredients in a bowl in the following order: Finely slice the leek and add half of it. Drain the mandarins first, then add them on top. Drain the celery first, then layer. Dice the apple and add them, then the remaining leek rings. Drain the corn first, then layer it on top of the leek. Slice the hard-boiled eggs into wedges and place on top, then slice the ham and slice the gherkins. Whisk the tartar sauce, sour cream, cream, and vinegar until smooth, season with salt, pepper, and sugar, then pour over the salad and let it marinate in the refrigerator.
