with quark dip

Cut the Leberkäse into short strips. In a bowl, mix the gyros spice mix with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and let the Leberkäse strips marinate in it. Meanwhile, halve the bell peppers, remove the seeds and white membranes, rinse them, and also cut the bell pepper halves into short strips. Peel and halve the onion, and also cut into strips. Clean, rinse, and coarsely grate the cucumber. In a bowl, mix the quark with the sour cream until smooth. Peel and press the garlic cloves into them, stir in the grated cucumber, and season with a little salt and a few turns of freshly ground pepper. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large pan and fry the Leberkäse strips on all sides over medium heat for about 2 minutes. Then add the onion and bell pepper strips and sauté. Season with a little salt and a few turns of freshly ground pepper. Serve the Leberkäse pan with the quark dip. Serve with flatbread, rice, or French fries.
