Leek and minced meat spaghetti pot

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 350 g minced meat, Thuringian
  • 2 leeks, halved and cut into fine strips
  • 1 medium-sized onion(s), finely diced
  • ¾ liter vegetable broth or meat broth
  • 300 g spaghetti, break into 5 cm long pieces
  • e.g. cream
  • e.g. salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Brown the ground beef in a deep pan until crumbly. Sauté the onions. Layer the spaghetti pieces evenly over the top and cover with leek strips. Pour the broth over everything and simmer with the lid on for about 20 minutes over medium heat. Stir thoroughly, adding a dash of cream if desired, and simmer gently for another 5 minutes. Stir thoroughly again and season with salt and pepper if desired.
